Dining With a Cheetah
Beautiful black tears beneath her eyes
Eyes scan the land for precious prey
Paws move softly, stealthily
Then burst forth rapidly
Accelerating
To forty-five
Miles for each
Hour
Sharp
Cutting
Teeth compress
Upon poor beast's
Delicate windpipe
Slowly suffocating
She devours meat quickly
For she cannot fight larger cats
And they will soon be there to pillage
She finishes her bloody meal
Leaving skin, bone, and entrails
As she is finicky
But that carrion
Makes a fine meal
For nasty
Vulture
Birds

The above poem is a triple Nonet describing the eating habits of the cheetah from hunting to eating.
Instead of using smell, cheetahs opt to scan the land visually, which is unusual.
They are the fastest on land, to no one's surprise. They kill their prey by clamping the animal's windpipe, therefore
suffocating it.
They are clean eaters. Other large carnivores consumed EVERY bit of the animals, but the cheetah eats the meat only.
Cheetahs are remarkably fast eaters, because they are the smallest of the "big" cats and cannot defend their kill
if opposed.
