Hello, my name is Frank. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am lucky to live in such a diverse city, Toronto has people
from 160 countries who speak 100 languages. At work and play, daily I've come in contact with people who've come to live here
from all over the world and I wish everyone had such opportunity. If we get to know one another, even just a little, you soon
realize despite cultural and religious differences, our core values are much the same. It's the similarities we should embrace
and the differences grasp to learn about and from.
I've been asked to contribute some information on birds, particularly threatened or endangered ones. I don't claim to
be an expert, just someone who has found his passion. There are words of a song; to paraphrase you have to find that special
thing that makes you fly without wings. For me, getting out in nature lifts my spirit. Birding is my hobby, but I just enjoy
whatever wonders I am blessed to see on any given day. While providing viewers/readers/you ,with some important and valuable
information, as well as simple ways we can all make a difference, I hope to inspire you to find that special thing that will
make you fly without wings.
