A Prayer

When angry words on me rain
My heart breaks, I feel such pain
when I am enveloped by the dark
there is no light, not even a spark
in agony I break out and cry
asking You an anguished why?
Then You gather me close to You
and speak words of comfort too
wrapped in Your soothing presence
my heart filled with Your essence
my troubles lifted, I feel so light
my world's suddenly shining bright
whenever I have writhed in agony
I have been saved by Your Mercy
You have always righted each wrong
and helped my faith grow so strong
when I have felt there was no hope
You've always thrown me a rope
when tears stream down my face
I find comfort in Your Grace
Benevolent, Merciful, the Most High
why should I worry when You are nigh
Confidante, Comforter, best of Friends
please stay by me till all time ends
let me have your love forever
on me and mine Blessings shower
pain and troubles why should I fear
when my Dear God is always near
Like You are always there for me
so are You My Lord for everybody!

The Prayer

Someone asked, "How do we pray ?"

And one looked up and said...

First invoke your Father's name
for thus, we all are fed

Let him know you hold him high -
His name has every power
known to heaven, known to earth
at any given hour

Plead for Him to bring to Earth
the Kingdom known as Peace
Wish His will to fall on us,
that Fear and Hate would cease

Thank Him for the food we eat -
The blessings we have known
Thank Him for the tender mercy
He has always shown

Beg Him to forgive us
and remember that He will,
precisely as we have forgiven
those who've done us ill

Pray that he will guide our hearts,
so tempted, we'll not be
Pray for our deliverance
from Evil's angry sea

For certain He created us
with Love for each and all
He'll be quick to bring us home
if we'll be quick to call

End your prayer with 'So Be It'-
the meaning of 'Amen'
Understand that His domain
is Freedom from all sin
When you wake to life once more,
Speak to Him, again

Someone fell upon his knee,
unfettered by delay...

"This, The Lord's Prayer,
now is mine"

...and he began to pray.

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, the vow unbroken- joy within Your Mercy sweet
From the moment of atoning- with Your Blood, my soul complete.

Only You my Bless-ed Saviour- at the Cross do not deny,
Pardon and redeeming, Holy- given to one such as I.

Oh, I love You! Still in wonder- neath Your Splendid Majesty,
How is it My God of Ever- You could love a wretch like me?

Amazing Grace, I bow in worship- blessings grand, Forgiveness true.
Father of the broken hearted- place my hope and dreams in You.

When my heart, in doubt, I falter- know You hold me safe and fast.
Given to the nail's wounding- far beyond the shadows cast.

Such a Love so Gentle, Precious!- live to praise You this I pray,
Cold, alone, this life is hollow- You; my Truth my Light and Way.

God of all; Salvation Perfect- protected, pure,in Your embrace.
Gratitude in songs rejoicing- resting in Amazing Grace.

My Creed (A Sonnet)

'Tis gratitude and giving that resound
the choruses of faith with sweet refrains.
In seeking goodness, joyfulness abounds,
then, true religion may the soul attain.

Beneath the words of every holy book
exists the peace that sacrifice imparts.
With passion each redemption's story shook,
through history, the core of man's cold heart.

In reverence, compassion and with hope
we lend another light for sorrow's way.
Our kindness might grant someone strength to cope
and find the help to face another day.

The finest sermons written may mislead,
'Tis tolerance and gratitude, my creed.

Magnificence

Crevasses, caverns, canyons deep
Cliffs, mountains, high and steep

Ice capped sentinels tall and proud
mysterious, half concealed by clouds

touching the sky with their towering peaks
reach heavens and with the angels speak

within the earth moulded limestone delights
magnificent stalactites and stalagmites

desert sands in warm splendid hues
lie stark and striking under skies of blue

sculpted mighty icebergs, pristine and white
stand high in the seas, a breathtaking sight

balancing rocks, mesas, fantastic arcs
everywhere we find The Sculptor's mark

heat, cold, ice, snow, wind and water
these are the tools of The Creator.

wielding these with unseen hands
He creates marvels in every land

"Be" He commands and it is, more
magnificent and glorious than before

Never satisfied ceaselessly perfecting
making each marvel more awe-inspiring

Spiritual- A Sonnet

My faith lies in existence of the soul,
Surpassing what the mind can reason true.
The Spiritual, accepting it as whole;
This is the course that I choose to pursue.

Unmeasured love cannot from flesh be born.
but only in the self's most holy place
is beauty in the, highest form, adorned
with humble heart and pure, unshadowed grace.

The angels speak through winds of poetry,
Yet tangible possessions claim our thoughts
For then the truth so seldom do we see,
and what we find is rarely what we've sought.

You ask what virtues does my mind perceive,
In God's redeeming Essence I believe.

I Believe in the Christ Almighty

I believe in the Christ Almighty
Born to deliver to us all the World's great joy
Eternal life he offers to us for repenting our sins
Living our lives with him brings to us bountiful rewards
Investing our time to get to know him never asking why
Everlasting love we receive within the Gates of Heaven

Vanity and greed are not the keys to get into Heaven
Envisioning the light can bring a peacefulness almighty
I often hear people's questions always asking why
Never understanding we are the destiny of our own joy
Trusting ourselves to Christ we can only reap rewards
How wonderful is Christ's mercy to forgive us for our sins

Each and everyone of us is guilty for our own sins
Christ died to save us to ensure our place in Heaven
His unselfishness for us brings to us his great rewards
Righteousness belongs to him we follow his lead to the land almighty
Inside our hearts he lives to create an awesome warmth and joy
Spiritually he comes to us to guide through our questions why

Touching us with his love he won't leave us this; I do know why
A promise was made to always relieve us from our sins
Listening for his word, following his way only brings me joy
May we always find ourselves on his path to Heaven
It is not hard to do as long as you believe in the Christ Almighty
God sent us his only son to try and teach us of his rewards

How many have not believed to receive such great rewards?
True to his word judgement has been brought and we ask why
Young kings have learned of the Lord God's wrath almighty
Giving plenty opportunities to repent for their awful sins
Leaving messages and signs on how to receive his joy
Openly his word expressed his wanting us all to be in Heaven

Rightfully he says we all have a place with him in Heaven
Your guaranteed a place in a beautiful land full of rewards
Believing in him, I can see, can only bring to your heart joy
Even though we all know, to not believe, I do not understand why
To me it seems simple to not follow in others sins
Open our hearts, believe, repent in the Christ Almighty

How can I not believe in his joy? How can I even ask why?
Internal senses show me his rewards, repenting for my sins
My path is the one to Heaven, I believe in the Christ Almighty!
