My name is Jay. I'm a young spirit in an even younger body. I am a native Western New Yorker, near the greatest chicken
wing place in the world; Buffalo, NY.
The most important things to me are not war, nor the environment. It is our fellow man. I volunteer whenever there is
the chance to help those in need of help, especially the elderly and the young. For to figure out how to fix the rest of the
world, we have to fix the problems that lie within our community.
My dream career is to be a researcher in the pharmaceutical field. I want to be able to help people using this in more
ways than one. Not only will I be behind the scenes trying to discover something new or bettering something old, but the monetary
benefits that I obtain will also be used to benefit the working poor in America. There are many American families that cannot
put a meal on the table for their family, and I believe that to help the rest of the world; you have to start at home.
I grew up with a younger brother who had a mild form of autism, and the treatment that he recieved not only from his fellow
classmates; but the school district appalled me. This is mainly where I get my humanitarian sense, but also growing up with
a loving mother who is a poorly paid registered nurse who has always worked with the disabled.
Life is too important to waste on worrying about petty things like clothes and what not. The world would be a better place
if we could all learn to accept and help our fellow man.
