Hello! My name is Louise and I live in the Midlands, in the UK. I am married to Tim and we have two sons aged nine and seven.
Having children was a huge turning point in my life. I have never before felt anything as all-consuming or powerful as
the love I have for my children and all my priorities changed with their arrival. This was a defining catalyst that prompted
me to really start pondering the deeper issues in life.
I have written poetry, on many subjects, since I was a young child, but more recently I have started to write about certain
issues and values that I would like to share with my children. Although I spend a great deal of time with my children and
I pass these things on verbally, I enjoy reinforcing them within my poetry. One day, maybe when I am no longer around, they
will hopefully still have these written words to inspire them in some way.
I think the Peace-Chain is a wonderful idea for people to get together, to encourage and inspire each other, in a mutual
desire to achieve a greater level of unity and understanding throughout the world. Much thanks to Peacelink for all her hard
work in setting this up!
