Some people dream of fame and fortune
Some of discovering new things
But I dream not of material items
I dream of giving people new wings
I dream of being able to touch people's hearts
And let them know that there's someone who cares
I dream of letting the world know they're not alone
And that there's someone who is always there
I dream of holding out my hand for other people to hold
And helping people step by step through life
I dream of embracing them with loving arms
Of being able to erase bitter strife
I dream that I won't be forgotten when I'm gone
And that my love and light will continue to live
I dream that my words will echo throughout time
And people will see all I have to give
I dream of being a mother who is looked up to
I hope my future kids always know that they're loved
I dream that they will know that they always can confide in me
And that they were all gifts from above
I dream of being the best person I can be
Being able to create smiles from frowns
I dream of offering all that I am
And helping people off of the ground
My purpose in life, is not to be rich and famous
I truly believe that I am meant to be a pillar of strength
To let the world know that there is some good
And some people will go any length
I'm not destined to be an actress or singer
Be what everyone expects to see
I am not destined to be rich and drive fancy cars
I am simply destined to be me
And that will always be my only dream
