Hi..my name is Sarah. I live in a small college town outside of a major city in western New York. I am a single (in love)
mother of two children, John and Casey, and three kitty cats Kitana, Darkness, and Whiteness, and I'm 43 years old. I love
and when I do love, I do love quite deeply. I love metalworking and all things mystical.
Writing is what I do more often than not, I always return to it when I am feeling angst, my specialty and for all sorts
of occasions.
I have had one book of poetry published, 'Like Flaming Fields Stoked by a Gentle Breeze: One Woman's Sojourn from Pain'
a reflection of being an abuse survivor and woman in general. I am also going to be in an event and chapbook locally called
'Women Celebrating Women'. I am the organizer and co-founder of a local grass roots community organization in my city as well.
I have taken a hard stand (for an American) on what is going on in the world today. I have a strong sense of justice.
(You might be surprised!) I ache for peace and resolution in various parts of the world including Iraq and Palestine and Israel,
as well as Kashmir and in our hearts here in the United States as well as the world over. I do not possess some 'pie in the
sky' notion for peace and harmony. I am a believer in Truth and righteousness and I concede that the times to come will be
times of consequence for those pervading this darkness in the world today, of which (sadly) my children and I, as well as
yourself are a part of. I hope to bring Light back into it through my participation on this website, and as a worker of Light,
using my special gifts and through my words. Relax. Be at peace here....for after you've done all you can at the end of the
day to bring peace to your world, you must find that peace within You.
