As many of us have learned, fossil fuels are a main source of electricity and power in America and many other countries. The
main fossil fuels are coal, oil and natural gas. These fuels are popular because of their low costs. But because fossil fuels
are a finite resource, once they are all used up, they're gone for good.

Because of the environmental benefits associated with renewable energy, many consumers choosing to "buy green"
and purchase electricity generated from renewable energy sources (such as wind, solar, and hydro energy) By purchasing green
power from a private company or by participating in a utility green pricing program, consumers can support the development
of new renewable energy resources.This could make a great change in the way we use power and from where.
Along with changes being made on energy, changes have been made to
make what we have more efficient. When buying or replacing products and appliances for your home or business, look for
the Enrgy Star label, the national symbol for efficiency. More efficient products make for less power being used while the
product itself works just as well or even better.
